name: eric brooks alias: blade, day-walker age:  looks 45 face claim: idris elba pronouns: he/him if they are an adult/parent: do they teach at the school, and what do they teach?: yes, eric teaches combat against supernaturals and stealth

BACKGROUND:

biography: ( i’m taking this directly from his canon page) Eric Brooks was born in Soho, London, on the 24th October 1922. His father, Lucas Cross, a member of the secret society the Order of Tyrana, sent his pregnant wife Tara to England before he was taken prisoner in Latveria. There she took the name "Vanessa Brooks" and found shelter with brothel owner Madame Vanity, another member of the Order of Tyrana. Experiencing labor complications, Tara was forced to seek a doctor's assistance. The doctor, Deacon Frost, was actually a ravenous vampire and feasted on the woman as she gave birth, passing on a series of enzymes that altered her baby. The enzymes entered the infant's bloodstream, transforming him into a being tainted by a vampire's kiss, but not converted. In other words half-human, half-vampire also called a Dhampir. Frost was driven away before he could slay the child, but Tara perished, leaving the orphaned Eric Brooks to be raised at Madame Vanity's brothel. he’s a master martial artist, expert swordsman, and expert marksman - making him exceedingly deadly and has the natural inclination to cause anyone around him to be intimidated.

ever felt a chill up your spine? it’s because of him. he’s not entirely human and the air around him gives it off. as well as he doesn’t try to hide it. eric also isn’t the best teacher, but he came to the school to help and offer his unique abilities and knowledge of the underworld that many don’t know exist. as a friend (saying the term loosely) of doctor strange, he took it on as a favor. headcanons? 

i’ll fill this out more as i go along but essentially i’m using mixed canon for eric: both from comics and his films. the one major difference from the films versus comic is that i’m keeping him british from the comics and using whistler as predominantly as they did in the films. other than that, he’s still an asshole who really fucking hates vampires and he curses up a storm as well. he’s a good man at heart, but he’s definitely a loner and prefers to keep to himself when he’s not teaching.

background:Steve Rogers was born July 4, 1922, to poor Irish immigrant parents, Sarah and Joseph Rogers. Rogers grew up a frail youth during the Great Depression in New York City, New York, America. Little else is known about Rogers' early life other than the fact that a strong sense of duty, honor, and humility was instilled in him.

biography:

Horrified by newsreel footage of Nazis ransacking Europe and atrocities in Asia that the Empire of Japan committed in China and Korea, Rogers tried to enlist in the Army but was rejected as 4-F because of his frailty and sickness. Overhearing the boy's earnest plea to fight for his country, General Chester Phillips, of the US Army, offered Rogers the opportunity to take part in a top-secret performance-enhancing experiment called Operation Rebirth. Rogers agreed and was taken to a secret laboratory in Washington, D.C., where he was introduced to Doctor Abraham Erskine (code named Professor Joseph Reinstein), the creator of the Super-Soldier Serum.[ . After weeks of tests, Rogers was at last administered the Super-Soldier Serum. Given part of the compound intravenously and another part orally, Rogers was then bombarded by vita-rays, a special combination of exotic (in 1941) wavelengths of radiation designed to accelerate and stabilize the serum's effect on his body. Steve Rogers emerged from the vita-ray chamber with a perfect human body. A Nazi spy, who observed the experiment, murdered Dr. Erskine mere minutes after its conclusion. Dr. Erskine died without fully committing the Super-Soldier formula to paper, leaving Rogers the sole beneficiary of his genius. Rogers was then put through an intensive physical and tactical training program that taught him gymnastics, hand-to-hand combat from Colonel Rex Applegate and William Essart Fairbairn, and military strategy. Three months later, he was given his first assignment: to stop the Nazi agent called the Red Skull. To help him become a symbolic counterpart to the Red Skull, Rogers was given the red, white, and blue costume of Captain America Rogers was also given the cover identity of a clumsy infantry private at Camp Lehigh.

We’re thrilled to have FRIGGA LOKISDOTTIR join us as a STUDENT of the Academy! They look at lot like EVA GREEN and are LOOKS 28, ACTUALLY HUNDREDS OF YEARS OLD, going by SHE/HER. We hear they’re a BIOLOGICAL child of LOKI, and also answer to FREYA. They’re said to be QUICK TEMPERED and are able to NATURE AND TRICKSTER MAGIC. Please join us in welcoming them aboard!

name: frigga lokisdottir alias: freya age: looks 28, actually hundreds of years old face claim: eva green pronouns: she/her if they are a child, who are their parents: loki odinson are they biological or adopted: biological if they are a child: are they enrolled in the academy and what are they specialising in? while old enough to be a teacher, frigga has been running wild in her world - having never left asgard, and knows only the wildest forms of her magic, so she’s enrolled within the magic side of the academy - as well as espionage.

BACKGROUND:

biography: frigga - or as she prefers, freya - has grown up under the luxurious splendor that is asgard. though the whispers and the distrusting looks she received as a child throughout her adulthood would not be lost on her, freya understood that loki - was the only parent she would ever want and need, never really wanting to know the other half of her creation.

proud, headstrong, and cunning - freya took after her father in many, many ways. she carried the aesthetic of a norse goddess, following along the path of stories loki had told her about frigga - her grandmother, and discovered that she herself had a strong knack for magic that centered on nature. and of course, a inherited and intuitive but not quite trained ability in trickster magic.

she knew of her uncle thor - met him a few times in her youth, but never much had the chance to really know him.

she’s come to this place after stephen strange had invited her to both meet her father in this realm, her cousins, potential siblings, and her uncle. of course, saving the world is a bit of an additional bonus but...that’s not her main concern.

powers and abilities: she possesses the use of trickster magic like her father, and nature magic like her grandmother - though she doesn’t have a full handle of either.

if they are a child, what have they brought with them to this universe/timeline: her gowns, her mead, her collection of rare herbs, and tomes of spells that her father had collected for her.

Combat training background: Haisley was born to James' Howlett, with an unknown mother. Once she got older, she was raised by both Wade and Logan and shows their personalities and temperments. She has a pretty good relationship with both of her parents. { a little bit of a syopnsis, still working on the full background.)

BACKGROUND:

biography: natalia alienovna romanova, or natasha romanoff as many know her – grew up in russia during the soviet era. at a very young age she was discovered by a man named ivan romanova who took her in and ‘adopted’ her, while putting her through the widow program and red room. he took a massive interest in the young girl and brought her up the rankings through hard, and oftentimes abusive training for her to be the very best black widow the program could offer. she was elite and was only trained by the best in their fields at the time, this included the soviet’s kidnapped version of their super soldier: the winter soldier. something miraculous happened, something dangerous: the black widow fell in love with the winter soldier, and the two soon found comfort in each other. After a few years of meeting in secret, the two were found out and the soldier was taken away, vowing to remember her – and natasha was left to be retrained and hardened in her own world. Waking up, she believed she was ballerina of the Bolshoi – but trained to spy and kill if necessary. It wasn’t until years later when meeting nick fury, did her true memories return to her. it was then that she remembered her soldier.

when the events of the winter soldier happened In the mcu, natasha kept her understanding and relationship with him secret – having figured it would be too much for steve to comprehend, and given that bucky, or as she called him james, did not remember her, it was easier. Now that James has returned and that the feud between heroes has been put at rest, natasha has focused her abilities and efforts into teaching the future generation all she had learned in the red room all those years ago. Of course, with less torturous methods, still – she won’t go easy on them. And in her spare time, she tries to seek her soldier out, to get him to remember any and everything about what they once shared.

an introduction to one stephen strange, below the cut.

BASICS FOR CHARACTER:

name: Stephen Strange alias: Doctor Strange age: 45 face claim: Benedict Cumberbatch  pronouns: he/him if they are an adult/parent: do they teach at the school, and what do they teach?: Yes, Stephen teaches the mystic arts and occultism.

BACKGROUND:

biography: tw: car crash, drowning, death. Doctor Stephen Strange was born in Pennsylvania, where his family promptly picked up and moved to a dairy farm out in Nebraska. A few years later his parents had two other children, a daughter: Donna, and a son: Victor. Stephen cared for his siblings but never quite got along with his god-fearing parents, especially his father. As he grew older, he took an interest in a wide variety of subjects and preferred the indoors to working out in the fields on the farm; causing much criticism from his parents. When he was about sixteen, him and his siblings went down to the lake located on their property for a swim – where tragedy struck. Donna, losing consciousness, drowned despite Stephen’s efforts to try to save her. Since then, and carrying the heavy loss and survivor’s guilt of it all, Stephen vowed to become a doctor – and the rest, as we know by the mcu, is history. Being a world-renowned neurosurgeon gave him fame and fortune, he had a 100% success record and he was on track to being the very best in his field. Until a car accident, entirely his fault, crushed his hands and effectively ended his long-achieved career. After many complicated surgeries that never seemed to effectively do their job, Stephen found hope in a temple in Nepal. Kamar-Taj, the Ancient One, Wong, and Mordo helping him back to his feet to become one of the Masters of the Mystic Arts and the Sorcerer Supreme that he is known as today. When he peered into the future, Stephen was horrified by what he saw – and having a very real interest in saving the universe, he moved in on the Avengers and the X-Men to ensure everyone would get along long enough to save their future and their multiverses’ children’s futures. Now with the academy built and with the aid of his fellow Avengers and the X-Men, Stephen can properly ensure that everything will go according to, his relative idea of normality.

name: morgan stark alias: redemption arc age: 26 face claim: emmy rossum  pronouns: she/her if they are a child, who are their parents: tony stark and pepper potts are they biological or adopted: biological if they are a child: are they enrolled in the academy and what are they specialising in? she is enrolled in the academy and specializes in research and development, engineering, leadership qualifications, and being the kid’s group bank

BACKGROUND:

biography: Morgan grew up without her father – he’d been dead long since she was ten years old and it’s affected her. given her unique ability to remember everything, she was able to hang onto the memories of him that she had when she was little. As she got older, she discovered more of his holographic messages – and each one was advice, or random ramblings of a theorem, equation, or formula – that most often she would take and improve upon. She loves her mother very much, but like her father, she get on Pepper’s nerves a lot. Especially when she tucked herself away in her father’s old lab that she’d turned into her own. Growing up in the spotlight, Morgan endured the harsh reality that she couldn’t be herself among the public – and that the real her, the one that was truthfully a ball of insecurities, addictions, and loneliness – could never be shown. She spent all of her teenage years partying after graduating from MIT at 16, becoming the very same rich asshole like her father once was – and spent most of her time hungover or waking up with a stranger beside her. Now, at 26, she’s more put together and focused on leading her team of friends – despite her mother’s worries and warnings – and taking care of her family – Morgan still oftentimes falls back on old habits and problems. She took the opportunity given to her by Stephen Strange – because she wanted to see Tony, wanted to know him and not the version her mind had put together.

powers and abilities: Morgan is just a normal human woman who has a genius sized brain. She’s inherited her father’s eidetic memory and quick-time analysis. She has her mother’s temper, ability to organize, and even though she’s most often a mess, she is a lot like her mother in the sense of being able to appear completely put together. 

if they are a child, what have they brought with them to this universe/timeline: Morgan has brought a cardboard box of her father’s recordings, various coffees, bits and bobs of experimentations that she’d been working on, and a very old piece of paper of all the things she’s been wanting to say to Tony ever since she was young. She has also brought the schematics of her suit with her, in hopes of getting her dad to help her build it. headcanons: whenever morgan is nervous or in a highly emotional situation, she becomes giddy and a little hysterical. she’ll laugh despite knowing the situation isn’t funny - and she’ll either excuse herself away or she’ll try to divert. morgan spends a good amount of her time not sleeping - she was diagnosed with full-on insomnia, but she tries to ignore it. she’ll blame anything but her own self. morgan loves cats. she has three back in her home world, and she misses them deeply. morgan’s middle name is hyacinth. it’s not what pepper gave her, which was helen, but it’s what her father came up with one day randomly and she’s since legally changed it to that. morgan’s suit is a deep purple to represent her mom and gold to represent her father. she went with the alias redemption arc for her parents. ‘redemption’ because her mother was ‘rescue’ and ‘arc’ because of her father’s arc reactor.
