setting: a local lgbt bar

The street outside of the bar is nearly deserted of people. This really isn’t the best place for a bar, he thinks to himself as he stands there, studying the building. Though he supposes he gets it — there’s a lot of stigma in this country around people who go outside the norm. Boys who don’t like girls, girl’s who don’t like boys. People like him. It’s been years since he came to the realization himself, yet he was still only out to a select few. Staying quiet about it has proved to be the easiest option, and he doesn’t see that changing in the near future. Still, he’s curious. Curious about what it’s like out there, among people just like him.
He can’t believe he’s doing this. Having only been legal since the new year rolled around, he’s obviously never been to a bar, much less an LGBT one. Doubts begin settling in his mind, and he’s nearly about to turn around and head back home when a wave of confidence hits him. No. He can do this. If he doesn’t like it, he can just leave right away. It’ll be fine.
Sejun is surprised at how easily he gets in. Honestly, he had been expecting some kind of reluctance, but his ID is barely spared a glance before he’s ushered in. Inside, the space is small, not too crowded. Good. He isn’t sure he’d be able to deal with a crowd during his first ever venture out to a bar.
While looking around, he makes his way to the bar, taking a seat at the very end, trying to make himself look as inconspicuous as possible. His gaze moves towards the bartender, and once their eyes meet, it’s as if his heart stops. He knows this guy. Well, knowing would be an overstatement. They have mutual friends, and have met before. Same thing.
Completely frozen, he sits there quietly, merely staring for a good few seconds. It’s too late to leave, of course it is, he’s been seen. And oh God, the older is coming towards him. Quick, think of something to say. Think! “Uh, I, uh... You...” He stutters out once the older is close enough. Smooth, Sejun. Real smooth. "I shouldn’t be here,” he mumbles, averting his gaze, a deep red blush spreading on his face.
