Inspired by the work of H.R. Giger in 1979's Alien and 1995's Species, Hengdi Wang crafted jewellery for his Spring 2025 collection shown at Shanghai Fashion Week that is midway between human bone and insect/alien being, placed over models' bodies in a way as though it is taking them over - their heads, necks, and mouths.

...been really under the weather lately but continuing to sketchbook (on paper that is far too thin for this) with ideas for a Dr. Octagon character - basing his design this time on a mixture of some Alex Horley / Simon Bisley / Tomm Coker while trying to get him in the same world as the Gorillaz stuff I been doing - included Jamie's Frankenstein Girl as nurse & a prototype Boogieman Baby Briefcase from the lab - could that be a cloned Murdoc in there?! (based on a sculpture by HR Giger) [ Col-Erase / Mechanical Pencil / TVPaint ]

Alien Earth looks pretty exciting so far! - I absolutely love how much they are playing around with Xenomorph blending in with the environment and playing with its prey!
