Love is weird
People think that love is just flowers and dates and simply saying “I love you” to someone.. Sure. You can call that love. But Honestly.. It’s so much more than that.. Being in love is so much more amazing to me.. To me: Being in love is knowing exactly how my boyfriend orders his In'N'Out (Double-double animal style with no tomatoes or pickles [unless he gets them and gives them to me because I love pickles], animal style fries [extra well done], sometimes just a large drink with a secret mixture of Coke and Dr. Pepper, other times an extra large chocolate shake, and two packets of sauce on the side) Being in love is still flipping 3 luckies in my pack of cigarettes from an inside joke from over a year ago between him and I. Being in love is knowing that he needs to change positions (sometimes sides) while we’re in bed because he gets uncomfortable every so often. Being in love is quoting movies together at the same time. (Would you like a drink? Or some of Aaron’s cocaine?) Being in love is knowing exactly what each other is thinking. (John Cena, torture movies, sea creatures) Being in love is not caring about each other’s pasts. (He was scene, but I forgave him) Being in love is being understanding of whatever happens in our lives. (I still look scene, he forgives me) Being in love is noticing the little things that we love to do. (I see you looking at me) Being in love is the fact that I’ll give him my pen caps because he loves to chew on them. Being in love is rocking out in the car during long drives blasting our favourite music. (Pivot!) Being in love is accepting each other and our decisions completely. Past, present, and future. Being in love is playing rock, paper, scissors with him to make decisions on things. (I’ve been winning lately) Being in love is when we still get out of the car when I leave his house and I still get a huge hug and a kiss and we tell each other that we love each other. Being in love is the fact that he still has me message him when I get home to let him know I made it home safe. Being in love is having a safe word just in case one of us gets into a situation where we’re in trouble and we need the other person. (I share my location with him and send him the word. He’d be there in minutes) Being in love is looking at him and thinking about how I have never been, and never will be happier.. (He’s cute and gives me butterflies still) Being in love is seeing each other in their most vulnerable time, and still never wanting to leave. Being in love is dating my best friend.. The man I see myself being with forever.. The man trust my entire life to.. Being in love is picturing me being with him for the rest of my life and not having a doubt in the world.. Being in love is when one of us doesn't feel worthy, yet the other one knows how absolutely perfect the other is, and proves it to them, and stays by their side no matter what.. That’s what being in love is like. I’m in love with him. I let him know everyday and I felt the need to write about how much I love him tonight. I love you to the sun and back @jakeb0b
