Recently, the Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh had their 6th annual Kentucky Derby gala at legendary Oakmont Country Club. The night was a great success and HR Screening Services was proud to be the entertainment sponsor for this year’s event!
The Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh is an outstanding organization that has been providing permanent homes, respite care, and advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities and autism for more than 20 years.
Emmaus currently operates six permanent homes in neighborhoods throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area. In these homes, individuals with intellectual disabilities receive 24-hour support and supervision.
Emmaus is responsible for all aspects of care, including assistance with daily living skills, opportunities for socialization and recreation, health care maintenance, medication administration, and finding suitable employment opportunities.
