Thank you to whoever dropped my journal off to the front desk of The Pines this morning; I didn’t even realize I’d left it anywhere until the receptionist let me know. I’m sure the distinct lack of anything salacious was disappointing - assuming you could get through the handwriting - so I appreciate you not tossing it out of spite. Who knew those little “This Journal Belongs To ...” squares on the inside cover were actually effective?

Today in “What the Fuck”: Charlie just ran through the living room in his Underoos holding the orange juice jug in one hand and a glass of water in the other. When I asked what he was doing, he said was “inna weeds, Daddy, makin dinks!”
My kid’s idea of playing pretend is being an overly busy, half dressed bartender...I think my work here is done.
