Some of the most common questions asked regarding winter weather episodes at Tidewater Community College are outlined and answered below:
Are all campuses closed? Yes. This closing includes all campuses and locations. It does not affect online-only classes.
What should I do if my class starts at 1:30 p.m.? Your professor will determine whether or not the class meets. Contact him/her via email or Blackboard if you have any questions. If you feel unsafe traveling, contact your professors and make arrangements to stay current with any class work.
Who decides that TCC will close and when will a decision be made?The college’s administration determines whether and when the college will be closed or delayed.
How do I find out if TCC will be closed or delayed? Sign up for TCC Alerts to receive immediate text and email notification of changes affecting students, faculty and staff.
