TROLLPROM - EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Each sweep, the time comes when a brood of trolls, nearly seven sweeps old, must face the Rites of Maturity, their final trial before they leave Alternia forever and join the fleet. The Imperial Drones will judge soon - but before then, you have one last chance on Alternia, to show off your quadrantmates to your peers, and maybe to fill those last few empty ones.

And of course, it’s time for one last, wild party.

It is time for TROLLPROM.

TROLLPROM is the first major Hiveswap fan-event, where, in a nutshell, we create and then ship our fantrolls together! TROLLPROM will take place over the course of the entire month of November, centered here on tumblr and on our Discord. TROLLPROM will have two phases

-The Shipping Phase: During The Shipping Phase, we’ll all get a chance to create, and then share, our fantrolls, to meet people whose fantrolls might fit, and fill in their shipping grids. During this phase, this blog will reblog eligible trolls seeking partners - a template for formatting the post is forthcoming. The Shipping Phase will happen over November 1st-14th.

-The Sharing Phase: Once your fantrolls are created, you’ll be heavily encouraged to make art, write fic, and otherwise artistically celebrate your new fantroll couples. During this phase, this blog will focus on reblogging new works created about these fantrolls. The Sharing Phase will happen over November 15th-30th.

Over the course of October, we’ll be updating this blog with an FAQ, a ruleset, a fantroll creation guide for newcomers to the fandom, a template for formatting your eligible trolls and more details on the event and troll culture.

Details are coming - but get to work. TROLLPROM is only a month away.
