Figured I should wait until 4/13 to post this, but I’m hella busy that day and I imagine we’ll be too busy freaking the fuck out about the epilogue Whatever’s Coming to remember poor Janey’s birthday. So here’s something I’ve been trying and failing to make for almost a year until it randomly came together when I really should have been doing homework. 

And yes, that title is a JoJo reference (cue airhorns), because I hold the similarities (in power sets if nothing else) between Jane Crocker and Giorno Giovanna very near and dear to my heart. 

Tl;dr: Jane Crocker deserves more music, dammit.

Question 1: How many times can I repurpose my old songs into new and slightly better arrangements?

Question 2: How many times can I stick Courser into a Jade track before it borders on the obsessive?

Question 3: What did we do to deserve Jade?

Question 4: What did Jade do to deserve getting 80% of a character arc at best?

Question 5: Is it obvious that I really love Jade Harley?

Anyway here’s a song that started out as an attempt to expand the BoSRE section of my JadeRose song Orbital Nova the same way I expanded the Chorale section into Oracular Descent/Grim Fairytale for Rose. Then I couldn’t help but add Courser. Then it turned into an attempt to make a more streamlined Gold Pilot arrangement. 

It eventually became all of those things as a tribute to Jade’s Act 6 arc through depression, Grimbarkness, and finally being Very Much Awake (And Intending to Stay That Way). It doesn’t exactly follow the events section by section but I think I ended up conveying the feelings I was going for overall.
