Dear year 12 students of 2013, Can you please stop burning your notes and exam booklets? Do you know why? BECAUSE WE'RE EXPERIENCING MESSED UP WEATHER WITH HOT WIND AND RIDICULOUS HEAT. So please, don't set your stuff on fire. You might be THE CAUSE of a bush fire.

There are people liking my Fiftieth Gate/Schindlers List/History and Memory rants from last year.

The HSC sucks, doesn't it guys? Don't worry! It;s honestly not that hard. Study and you'll be fine. The questions ARE simpler than your trials, but that doesn't mean to study less. They still require the same amount, if not more thought.

Young ones, you're nearly done! Once you're in uni, you won't even remember your ATAR. 

There are loads of other ways to get into the courses you want at uni. I know many people that I attended high school with that are doing newstep and they're really succeeding now. 

but stay motivated! Don't procrastinate. Make sure all of your summaries are finished because it's going to bite you on the ass if you don't have them done by trials (TRUST ME!!)

ALSO, don't delete tumblr. You need to let your steam off somewhere. Plus, you meet such great people on this tag. You might even meet some of them some day. I've met a couple from #hsc12.

hsc advanced english students are on the fiftieth gate tag and liking all my 'fuck you fiftieth gate' posts.

IT FUCKING SUCKS, DOESN'T IT? If it's any consolation, I managed t not read the fiftieth gate, not pay attention to schindlers list, not read as you like it, not read frankenstein and not even bother watching blade runner and I managed to pass English, so it is possible!

Good luck for november, hsc kiddies! It's honestly not as bad as you think. Just study and don't overwhelm yourself. I'm not gonna lie, during my hsc I cried. A lot. I spent more time sleeping at my desk than I did in my bed, and I was a mess but I still passed every subject.

If I can pass every subject and manage to get into uni with my absolutely horrendous atar, you guys are gonna be fine I PROMISE!

Don't stress. The more you stress the worse you're gonna go because there's too much going on in your head. Read the question slowly and more than once. Understand the question before you begin writing. It helps you avoid stupid mistakes :)
