During stage 4 of Hidden Star in Four Seasons, there is a large fairy which may drop a bomb. This only happens if you do not die or bomb during the previous pattern (before the big fairy spawns). Season release doesn't impact it.

Once the big fairy enters the screen, even if the previous pattern is not over yet, you can safely get hit or bomb and you will still receive the bomb item from the fairy.

Okina Matara nonspell safespots - Hidden Star in Four Seasons. 

The safespot is on her face. You have to move along with her. It’s risky but you can use the season release when you feel in danger.

Gain season items fast by grazing Eternity Larva’s midboss attack. You need to stay on her head and after each time she shoots you need to go for a brief moment up because she moves and can hit you. Works on every difficulty, with every character.

For Okina Matara’s spellcard from the spring door (not the spring sub), you can get close to her while she shoots in order to graze and collect many season items. After she stops shooting and the other bullets fall on screen, you can just release the season and dodge very little. 

It may work on higher difficulties than Normal, but it requires more dodging. So it’s not that efficient there. But for the average players, it’s a good way to deal with the spell.
