Dear Koala, 

It’s 2K17, are you still my motherfucking star boy or what @hsxk? I’m waiting for you to put me in the worst mood, ah just so I can make your whole year in a week. Ok, I’m done you know how long I spent remixing that song for you and it still ended up sounding sorry. Oh well, better luck this year. To that one best friend of mine who just so happened to be more, I don’t know what to say 2k16 was memorable if to say the least. Well for me at least, I don’t know about you but we ended up doing something not many would be able to do even with our work schedule. I think I also wrote you some really sappy stuff last year how do you deal? Either way let’s welcome in the new year right. Already planned out of list of demands to hold you to, aren’t you lucky? I guess the only thing I really want out of of the year is for nothing to change between us as we move ahead. Let’s both keep working hard and remain close. You’re a shoulder to me as much as I am to you and I really like that about us so let’s not hide anything and continue to be honest with each other. Contrary to what you might be led to believe I hold nothing against you and as much as you blame yourself you know myself response to that is: quit it. I’m looking forward to this new year of watching you just become better each day I intend to keep my promises as long as you let me so let’s just move forward.  Also that was a lie, I want our rap battle, test your skills. I am waiting. Oh and I hope you don’t think you’re really getting out of laying out in the middle of the floor and listening to random playlists because if you do you’re highly mistaken. Tiramisu will find you and drag you so hard. Roasted Hope will be on the menu, don’t test us. Either way welcome to the new year let’s be happy together you know at least until we get drunk cause that a pretty dangerous level of happy. I’m surprised we aren’t on Worldstar. Thank god, we’re famous.  Something homo like I’m here for you even if I’m six feet under,  Panda P.S. from Mun to Mun: I just reread this and someone needs to take Starboy away from Yoongi cause oh my fucking god. Though I did type Panda and start rapping Desiigner. Moving on, silent internal fanning cause you’re so dear to me. Thanks for be that true mvp putting up with Yoongi and the blessedlife ship that is YoonSeok. Words can not express my thanks on how glad I am to know such a great human being and even more so getting to know you. Sorry I keep doing thing for you and giving you absolutely no clue about them because I am that type of friend. I’m pretty glad we just decide for the heck of it we can just switch between talking ic and ooc at a whim and whatever happens happens. Plus you got the connections to ooc as well. But once again thanks for being the amazing person who you are. Who would of thought just talking to someone I spent a good amount of time admiring on the dash would have became what it did. Not everyday you see that. Wishing you nothing but the best, still always a fan. Thanks for being a great friend and you’re still an absolute delight and so very stunning, gorgeous, true model of a person to know.

It was rather standard for them to sneak off especially when they were in Korea however they hadn’t done it so much outside of the country expect for the few times with the rest of the group. Getting past their managers wasn’t the biggest problem nor was it explaining to the staff it was doing their best not to get caught by fans as would be the deciding factor within any of their schemes. The last few night they had in Brazil after their concerts was going by rather quickly as they had settled for a celebratory dinner and night of experiencing a bit of the Brazilian culture. 

Their free day amongst themselves had added up to searching for food and going to see other places around the city. Sure they had ran into a few fans along the way but nothing to bad and it hadn’t been as many as it could have been. The evening of that free day found then back in their hotel rooms just before the sun was to set as they had returned from the last dinner outing they would be having in the country.He was glad their management had chosen for them to stay a bit farther out of the city for a night. It was rather relaxing as Yoongi was perched on the balcony of the his room over looking the beach which he could see from there. A nice view but he was more so timing rather than just admiring. The last time Yoongi has made mention to their outing was prior to the trip since they had spoken on it once. He shot the younger a message just as the sun was setting.

It didn’t take much for the him to convince his roommate for the trip he was simply going to get a closer look of the sunset and perhaps write some lyrics as he left the room: bag in tow. When he got down stairs Hoseok was already standing by the door that they were going to make their escape from and walk down onto the beach. In his head he was pretty sure they weren’t suppose to be on it after dusk but giving the fact they didn’t get to do so often he wasn’t too worried about the consequences. 

“Wow eager, I didn’t even have to wait.” He joked as he pushed the door open as he walked pass Hoseok instead of stopping once he watched up to him. “I thought I would have had to have texted you three times at least.” A light snicker passing his lips as they left the hotel. “You can shut up, hyung.” Hoseok easily shot back only provoking a smile from the elder as made their way down the path. The feeling of the sand seeping against their feet as the trail was covered in it. 

“What you could have been sleeping.”  Yoongi shot back. “You would have been sleeping not me.” A brief eye roll as he shook his head, they actually hadn’t bickered like this for the whole trip and he was actually starting to miss it. “Whatever, nice to see you too.” The path opened up the toe expanse of the beach the cooler air of the dimming sky offering a bit of chill versus the higher ground the hotel was perched on. The outlook rather relaxing as only farther down could you see beach, pulling the bag off his back he as he pulled out a blankets slowly unwrapping it as he pulled out a bottle of Brazilian wine from it. “As promised but no fancy glasses like we have when we sneak out at home.” He whipped out the blanket and pushed the bottle into the sand so it would stand on its own as they sat down, pulling out his bluetooth speaker along with his phone as he paired the two. Popping open the bottle of wine before he bother to chose music taking the two cup he had brought pour one for Hoseok then for himself. 

“What are we listening to?” He asked scrolling through his music before he chuckled right before Hoseok could answer. “Actually I have something in mind.” He turned as he turned on Wake Up Where You Are by State of Sound. “It matches the sunset and tropical feel, pls it’s part of a playlist I made for this.” He admitted as he had been planning around this since he had brought it up to Hoseok in the weeks prior. “Now just say you’ll actually relax.” Yoongi spoke taking seat behind him with one blanket draped over his shoulders wrapping his free arm around the younger as they sat there nestled against each other. “I will.” Hoseok acknowledged.

Letting the sound of both the ocean and music combine  watching the sun set and sipping on the white wine as they chilled back.Causal conversation, mention towards the concert and trip passing between them as the course of the stress from recent travelling wash away for the moment as they simply enjoyed each other and a few good laughs, a brief point where they could both just be in tune with the sights, sounds and each other.

He had already set everything up he was surprised Hoseok hadn’t noticed he had skipped out on him for a good part of the day. With the younger male’s birthday already came and pass since they had been performing the weekend of it and followed up with fansigning, he had decided on surprising him after rather than before. Yoongi had basically shown up with their dog earlier asking Hoseok to keep an eye on him when it truth it was because he was going to be constantly entering and leaving the apartment and didn’t want to make a mess his attempted surprise. He was able to kick it off with out hitch as everything he had wanted to get to the treehouse was set therefore he texted the other and hoped to god that Hoseok hadn’t miraculously found something to go do. The only down side being they probably wouldn’t be out here for long as the chill of the cold weather, especially at these hours of the night, was still attempting to kick their asses as spring had yet to roll in. 

Yoongi had already made his way back up into the tree house laid back against the mattress he sat on waiting for the other as he scrolled through his phone. The rustle of grass and creek of the ladder it took to get into the treehouse signalling that the other had actually got the message and had figured out where Yoongi was. Once the younger was actually in the house he could tell just by the look on his face he hadn’t excepted what he saw, though the decorations were minimal. The area highlighted by the enclosed  battery powered candles lighting certain corners and one actual lit candle which rested in a music note holder allowing  notes to dance on the walls as the flame did. 

“I know you said no nothing so I planned nothing and thought this would be fun instead.” Yoongi laughed before patting the the mattress and offering Hoseok the other side of the large thermal blanket he was wrapped in. “So watching one of your favorite movies and stargazing for a few hours can’t get me into too much trouble on the do nothing scale.” He gestured towards his laptop at the top of the mattress along with two pillows. These were things they had done before not in the Hoseok’s treehouse therefore it would be a memory. “I bought tea as well and a cake. ” He moved his arms from under the blanket and reached for the coffee shop cup of warm tea and the box which held a small cake which he sat on Hoseok’s lap. “I also got you something but I left it back home so later?”

He laid his head against Hoseok’s shoulder so he wouldn’t have to look at him as he spoke. “You know you really can’t expect me not to do anything on your birthday when there is so much about you to celebrate so let’s just enjoy the night then head back.” He sat up and smiled as he looked at him again. “Happy Birthday, Jung Hoseok.”

@hsxk has been gifted: “I think I can bet you’re gonna start crying.” Hoseok jested, as he pulled his leg back in a stretch. Yoongi didn’t look up from what he was doing though his brow cocked at the suggestion, he had to be referring to their nomination for the upcoming MAMAs. He couldn’t tell if he was truly being serious or not however the elder simply rolled his eyes and proceeded to go back to keying away at the laptop. “When is Jimin coming back you talk too much when we’re alone.” Yoongi smirked as he finished the last word of the line he was trying to fix before he forgot by being distracted by the younger’s words. “Plus,I thought you were stretching?” His eyes finally lifting from the laptop screen in front of him looking at the Hoseok who wasn’t facing him but instead the mirror of the practice room. He could see his expression through the reflection he was smirking knowingly. “I am stretching you don’t have to think about it you can see me.” 

Once again Yoongi rolled his eyes going back to the laptop at the smart remark from the other. He didn’t even respond before he heard Hoseok’s next claim. “I’m just predicting the future, you were able to hold it back last time but this time you won’t be so lucky.” Yoongi persisted to act as if he was truly still working on his lyrics and not listening to every word Hoseok said and he knew the younger knew as much. Which is why it didn’t surprise him when the other found his way to sit beside him, as he continued describing the situation. “I’m just putting it out into the atmosphere just in case we do win.” Hoseok continued even as Yoongi didn’t acknowledge the fact he was beside him. “We’re gonna win. You’re gonna cry and I’m gonna whisper I told you so when we do.” Yoongi side eyed the other at the latter half of the statement before he spoke, “And your point is?” 

Hoseok didn’t answer the question as he stood up again and went back to stretching in the mirror, Yoongi squinted at him shaking his head and going back to what he was doing. He had already copy selected a line about to move it from it’s current place in the order he had them. “I just won’t mind being able to hug you in front of everyone just to calm you down.” Hoseok suddenly spoke again, Yoongi paused as the line carrying the same tone Hoseok usually use to tease the other yet his voice remained firm. Yoongi looked up at him intrigued by the statement though he wasn’t playing into Hoseok’s game. His gaze was returned the other who was facing him again with the same smile he had grown use to the innocent but completely satisfied one. The one that said I’m glad with the fact you don’t know how to respond to that. Yoongi feigned an look of annoyance at him though as he knew the other wouldn’t take it seriously before returning his attention to the laptop.

“Let me just call Jimin and see where he is.” Yoongi grumbled making no motion to reach for his phone as he continued to type deciding to leave the line where is was something was trying to keep him from changing it considering that is when Hoseok had chimed up. It was always funny how things worked out like that since he’d often spent time writing in the dance practice room with the other.

“You know I’m right.”

“Whatever helps you sleep at night, Hoseok.”
