Small Update!

We’ve had a lot of changes on HTBM in the last couple weeks. Most excitingly, I would like to welcome Icarus & Cas to the staff team! 

Right now we’re working on finalizing the world lore & our amazing coder Icarus is working on a custom skin. 

Our staff search is still open, there’s a spot for one more admin before we open.

Introductions!

The site is coming along quickly. I expect we will be ready to open mid February. I’ll announce a more solid date in the next week or so.

Info Drop - Diversity

WOMEN 

In some places of the world women are still not quite viewed as complete equals. They are allowed to vote and there are no laws barring them from the kind of jobs they can have. It is social pressure that they must contend with more than out right laws. In the Southern Islands or on pirate ships is where women will see the most equality. These places put more value on skill and strength of character over anything else.

POC

People of colour are not treated poorly here. They were never slaves, they are just people.

SEXUALITY 

This varies more country to country depending on what region. The countries to the north tend to value marriage and procreation. Other sexuality are not outlawed but they aren’t encouraged or looked upon highly in this area. The attitude in the Southern islands on the other hand is very different. No one cares who you love or lay with.

Keep a Weather Eye on the Horizon

Hey guys! Been hard at work on the site for the past week. Previews will be starting this weekend and while we have some lined up I would love to know what it is you’re most interested in seeing from the site? Maybe we can push those previews along for ya! 

We will also be starting some contests next week for early face reserves, special character slots & more.
