Best of luck to the runners, teams, and organizers of this year’s Hood to Coast relay as they make their way toward the coast over night! For those unfamiliar with the event- Hood to Coast is an annual relay held in Oregon where runners race 199 miles from the slopes of Mt. Hood to the town of Seaside on the Pacific coast. I participated in the 2017 edition of Hood To Coast, a 200 miles relay that goes from Mount Hood, Oregon to Seaside, on the coast and the experience was so special to me that I wanted to draw a comic about it.

These pictures were first published on Instagram, which is why the format of all pictures are square. It was drawn and written really quickly because I wanted to do it while the events were still fresh in my memory, so I hope you’ll forgive the messy drawings and the many misspellings.
