so i'm trying to post a thing on ao3 and link my tumblr in the notes but i can't make it work ?? please help! i type it the way the internet tells me to to link it, but it always opens it up in ao3 like i'm trying to link works tagged like that, which i'm not and i don't know how to fix it! if you could help me, that would be great!

Aw hi! Pretty simple, go to your AO3 page, look at where all your works are, and click the button that says “Edit.” (There is a similar button next to it that says “Edit Tags” which I think you are stuck in and it only gives you a few options, but it’s okay, it can be confusing.)

So scroll down until you see:

(You can click on that to make it bigger.) The section is called “Notes,” and you have to click the checkbox to select whether you want notes before and/or after your work. The HTML you’ll need is name of your link.
