Zayn: -voicemail- Sometimes it aggravates me that you’re with Perrie. I feel like sometimes you’ve had these feelings for her when we were still together, and it makes me wonder sometimes if you did it on purpose. As a way to get me back for leaving.

Liam: -He sounded drunk, but a person drunk spoke their truth. Leaving it alone wouldn't solve anything, and both him and Perrie were too important to let slip through his fingers. He rang Zayn back.-

The easier question to answer would be what he doesn’t think Zayn’s good at. He thinks his graffiti and drawing is good, his singing, his songwriting, his eloquence of speech, his love for others, cuddles, smoking with, geeking out with, taking care of children and pets... Honestly, there’s a lot.

Hello It’s Me||Zayn&Liam

Painting a nursery took a lot more Time than Liam thought would originally go into it. He hadn’t factored in how much he’d have to run over the same spot to get it painted. Liam could generally be a rather patient man, but by the Time Zayn was meant to come over, he’d only finished off half of the room with the background blue. Although, Liam was never against being around Zayn more often. With him on tour and Zayn off working on his album, they rarely got to see each other anymore, even living in the same house, so Liam was more excited at the prospect than anything else. More than that, Liam had something he wanted to ask of Zayn, but it was much more a face to face question than text.

When Zayn came in a quarter to two, Liam was already smiling. He thought to hug the guy, but being as covered in paint as he was, it might not have been the best option, so instead, he put his efforts towards moving away the paint cans in the way of the finished side of the nursery. “Come in, come in. Um, just got the one side done for now, if you can work with that. But if not, that’s cool, I can let you know when I’m all finished?”

Tay: These past few days have been really weird for me, and I heard they've been really hard on you, so I want to come clean. You'll probably want to be mad at me, but I had a kind of spat with Kylie about you, and the more I kept saying that I was protective because of my friends the more it sounded fake.

Tay: It was true before, but now I'm protective of you because...I don't know. I know we're not friends and you probably don't like me that much, but I still want to help you, if you want someone.

Emotions || Zayn&Liam

Liam didn’t know why Zayn wanted him, but there was never a Time he’d leave him hanging. Not if he had any say in the matter. It was how he functioned, more with Zayn than the other lads, but he and Zayn always had a different relationship than the others. Or at least, Liam thought of it like that. He’d just got in from the last show, just settled in with Perrie and their pets, dead tired and ready to hit the sack, but Zayn wanted him. So he went. If he was planning on staying up for a while, he figured he might as well catch another smoke, so after throwing on a pair of joggers and an old t-shirt, Liam grabbed his smokes and lighter, then head downstairs and out the back. He sidled up next to Zayn, knocking shoulders with him lightly, “Hey.”

Liam was sure. Completely, definitely sure. Okay, maybe 99%, but he’d blame that on worrying about Perrie feeling lonely. She could take care of herself, he knew, and she had given him the go ahead, so... Liam was sure.

He was going to get high with Zayn.

If that were something that was possible, since it was a bit of a snap decision, and Liam was already halfway to Zayn’s room before thinking that he might be out, or with Gigi, or someone else, or he didn’t have any weed, or- Plenty of things. However, he’d already gone that far, so he figured to press on and deal with those issues later, if they came up. Within the next few minutes, Liam was rapping his knuckles against Zayn’s door.
