Definition
Asymmetrical digital subscriber line (ADSL) is an asymmetrical transmission technology that is used to transmit data at high speed over the twisted pair.
ADSL2+ is an extension of ADSL. The upstream rate of ADSL2+ reaches 2.5 Mbit/s, and the downstream rate reaches 24 Mbit/s. The maximum distance that ADSL2+ can reach is 6.5 km.
