The DASH robot I illustrated for the book Zoobots: it was inspired by the way cockroaches move (hence the little roach illustration I made to accompany it).

This was the first BIG book project I took, and I was rivet counting like mad, right down to the circuitboards!

HUBOT-MARKET: Get your own human roboter

I found a nice website referring to the 2012 swedish science fiction series "REAL HUMANS" written by Lars Lundström. The story takes place in our present time in a parallel universe, where the use of consumer-level androids is becoming more prevalent: They are used es servants, workers and company, but some have started to develop feelings and their own goals as their programming has become more advanced. The Hubot-Market is a (of course fake-) Online-Shop where you can experience, buy and rent your own "Hubot". The pictures remind me of the discussion, when H&M admitted that the bodies of most of the models H&M features on its website are computer-generated, virtual models: CGI humanity for when even Photoshop can't invent a perfect body.
