Ah its so frustrating! Okay so for me, my inactive email was a high school one and I graduated just over a year ago, so luckily IT at my school were able to re-activate the account for me for a few minutes so I could access the email and change my pw. However, I’ve also seen that making a new email account under the exact same name as the inactive one can also work. Additionally, she could search the ‘tumblr email’ tag on here to see what other people are doing since it is NOT just your sister and me affected by this!! I’m crossing my fingers it all works out for her!
