there's a lot of taboos around exploring physical intimacy with people you admire and love without people [saying] "oh they're fucking. they're doing this." i was just always frustrated by these notions, especially with connor who[m] i love dearly. it was something i was adamant that no matter what people think or want to infer, i'm always going to physically express my love. if you're still biased or jaded or uncomfortable with expressing physical love for people in 2025, you just gotta get over yourself.

He wants to remember this is what came to my mind when I saw Connor filming Hudson behind the scenes.

We know Connor is so proud of Hudson and everything they created together. He’s said on numerous occasions how grateful he is that he met Hudson, how instant their connection was, and called Hudson his soulmate (which Hudson reciprocated). This 1 second peek of Connor filming Hudson while he’s doing a photoshoot as Shane, where Connor’s not even filming Hudson, he’s filming the screen showing the photos taken (gotta get a close up after all), radiates just that.

Some of you know their time making Heated Rivalry is my favorite genre of HudCon, and this is one of the reasons! The early days are chock full of moments of them falling in love and getting to be free with each other.

Even though they were both working really hard on the show, the consistency with which we can see Hudson and Connor take steps to spend more time together and capture every moment with each other, speaks volumes. Not every memory may be exciting, but HudCon want to keep them all. Simply because the memories were made with each other. That’s love.

Though, this does also make me wonder if Connor has a Hudson album like Hudson does for his butt?

you and hudson williams have said that during the audition process, you both singled each other out to jacob. when it came time to film on set, was there a moment or scene where you felt validated in that instinct, that you made the right call?

the entire time. i feel like it wasn’t even on set that that was validated, because i think we had the acting down. i know this is about the acting, but i think it felt validated just with the natural flow of things. we had such a natural flow that, you know, everyone talks about the chemistry, the chemistry — and that really starts by just trusting each other. i don’t think people could have the sort of on-screen chemistry that hudson and i have without genuinely embracing each other in real life and really feeling seen and heard and safe. that’s when it felt validated and real to me.
