[text] I don’t say it often enough, but I want you to know that I love you.
[TEXT TO: MY MEDIC]: I love you too.
[TEXT TO: MY MEDIC]: But I know, I don’t need to be told all that often, I know... it’s hard for you.

[text] I don’t say it often enough, but I want you to know that I love you.
[TEXT TO: MY MEDIC]: I love you too.
[TEXT TO: MY MEDIC]: But I know, I don’t need to be told all that often, I know... it’s hard for you.
[text] I love it when you moan my name.
[TEXT TO: DERBEAR]: DEREK HALE! I AM IN CLASS RIGHT NOW.
[TEXT TO: DERBEAR]: Last night was fun, BUT NOT THE POINT.
[TEXT TO: DERBEAR]: NO TEXTING ME NAUGHTY THINGS WHILE I AM LEARNING, IT IS DISTRACTING.
[text] I remember grabbing your ass. So firm. So right. I don’t regret it.
[TEXT TO: MY MEDIC]: Oh my god.
[TEXT TO: MY MEDIC]: I mean, my ass thanks you? But you know, you don’t have to grab it only after your 5th beer and all that.
[TEXT TO: MY MEDIC]: I wouldn’t be opposed to other places being grabbed, and okay now I’m going to shut up.
[TEXT TO: MY MEDIC]: You better not be laughing at me.
[TEXT TO: MY MEDIC]: I’ll bite you.
[TEXT TO: MY MEDIC]: ……. that’s not very threatening is it?
"Relax."
It felt like her entire body was on fire, her heart hammering inside of her chest at a rate that seemed very much unhealthy but she couldn’t help it-- she was out of the Hale home through the back door, and hearing Derek’s voice behind her, she couldn’t help the sob that bubbled out of her throat.
“Don’t you tell me to relax, oh my god-- don’t you dare tell me to relax Derek Hale! What was that? What is this place? Is this simply a place that has a hundred and one supernatural beings? That girl was talking about voices? She hears voices? And the other- his eyes are red, there is a younger one? And what that pack-- what in the heck, I don’t, what accident debt does someone have that sends 15 were-whatevers to a home set on killing them? And you all fought without a second though, like this is normal!” She couldn’t help the way her voice shook with each word, how tears were seemingly rolling down her cheeks at a pace she couldn’t control. The recent memory of being grabbed hold of by another, a hand over her throat-- she could still feel the unwanted touch against her skin. “And I don’t care if your family thinks I’m weak, am I always going to be in danger because I love you? Is this what it is? I love you, so much-- but this... I don’t, I can’t Derek, I’m not strong enough to live this type of life.”
Marley didn’t pull away as she felt arms go around her- she didn’t fight against the hand that threaded through her dark brown locks, or the lips to pressed a kiss to her temple. If anything she melted against him, pressing her face against the crook of his neck- hands curling against the fabric of his shirt, the 18 year old let out a shuddering breath.
“I don’t want to die, I don’t.... I am so in love with you, I’d do anything, but death? I don’t want to be a pawn anymore, I’m weak to everyone else, a foolish human girl-- I don’t want to be that anymore.”
