Looks like Hudson posted something and then deleted it. This is the second time he has done this, it's too chaotic there on threads

Perhaps he’s feeling a little hesitant with his replies these days 😅. Anytime Hudson is on threads we never know what we’re gonna get lol

H appears to be withdrawing from social media, and that’s a good thing for him. Even the most secure and resilient person doesn’t need to be exposed to that much discourse about themselves. It’s sad for the fans who enjoyed his posts and comments, but I feel this was inevitable as he became more famous, and based on how he likes to engage on those platforms he can’t use them like he wants to or control the responses to his content.

We might see a return, maybe when he has something to promote?

I don’t think we’ll be getting any ‘live’ behind the scenes stuff for HR s2 from the main cast but that was predictable with all the attention on them.

Let’s not blame the fandom as a whole for this - it’s a combination of a small group of fans who don’t observe the etiquette, the algorithms which bring this stuff to their attention, and the media who blow this stuff up and make it a PR issue.

I agree this yet another sign of him withdrawing from social media, it is sad though. I do hope Hudson can rest and relax right now and then come back when he is ready, if he wants to. He’s been under a lot of stress recently and I don’t subscribe to the belief that it’s all because of small groups of inappropriate fans. The man has a lot going on and to manage your own social media (another avenue for everyone to watch/judge you) everyday is a lot. He mentioned during a met gala interview that he had deleted the apps from his phone - seems like he is copying Connor’s method. Can’t say it doesn’t work for him.

I actually still have hope that we will get some good S2 behind the scenes sneak peeks from him though! Connor presence always seems to give him the energy be a little daring and the desire to want to show off 😉

Potentially! To me this is yet another example of Hudson and his team being reactive rather than proactive. Wiping your threads is a very big thing to do, and yet I am wondering the catalyst? The first anon who shared their thoughts said there was a lot of fans tagging him in threads, and this is a response to that... I'm not sure. I don't think we can say this was because he was uncomfortable - to my understanding, he did not delete his threads account. He still has the account open at any time, and he can literally begin replying/interacting whenever he wants to again. He also could have just stopped going on threads altogether (without deleting his history) if he didn't want to see the content.

So he has removed his posts/replies only, which reads to me like perhaps a misguided way of trying to hide them? Maybe his team asked him too or it's a new PR social media approach etc.. The bottom line is this does not "undo" what has already been said by him on threads, and in some ways causes more attention to it (in the short term). I certainly hope this wasn't a response to people clocking him, because reacting like this does not help anything.

I think the second anon is spot on that this is going to signal a social media decrease from him. I know we're all on edge right now, but I want to say this anyway. The best aspect of his threads account was that it was him talking, and he was having a dialogue from fans and posting whatever (including callbacks and photos with Connor). Therefore, this public-facing-wipe makes me wonder if we are seeing a change in Hudson's/Hudcon's next steps of their future plans. We will have to wait and see!

I think Hudson might be lurking on tumblr because how is it that I just saw some recent conversations about how his comment on the Verizon ad is toned down, made sure it’s flirty but not too much; meaning he’s pulling back or whatever and then 3 hours later he comes back swinging with those comments 😂😂😂

I choose to believe! Because I agree while the Verizon comment is still hilarious, it is noticeably toned down from Hudson’s other thirst. So I, for one, am thrilled he decided to step up his game!
