Extra Indulgent Frosted Sugar Cookie from Hudsonville
This is a very sugary scoop, no surprise. The flavor copy says it’s a brown sugar base, but I’m not sure how. It doesn’t taste brown sugar at all. The frosting mostly permeates the base, but it definitely tastes more like a regular sugar cookie—no molasses taste. Nothing wrong with that, it’s quite delicious, just doesn’t match. The frosting swirl is somehow even sweeter than the base, and tastes as you’d expect. The cookie dough pieces are very small compared to conventional dough pieces, but they’re soft and gritty like cookie dough.
