In celebration of #hugaplumberday I remember an episode in #blackish where Dre and his wife, Rainbow, had an argument about their younger son's (Jack) future career. In that episode, Jack picked interest in plumbing and it bothered his father, Dre. He was bothered because he doesn't want his son to be seen as a plumber thereby giving people the chance to insult or overlook him. Both parents came to the conclusion that they will support their son no matter the path he chooses. We get to see that plumbing is not a bad job after all. It's a wonderful thing that women are also learning it. It's not a job to overlook because without them, we will be: washing our plates outside, having our bath outside and defecating in the bush. A small fault with any pipe is a big disaster. A small leak in a pipe is a damage. They are always there to save the day. I would have said give a plumber a hug but the world isn't safe because of #covid19. So, I would like you to leave a word for plumbers.
