"Huggles? Could I bother you for a moment of your time?"
"Sure Ed, I’m always free for you guys. What’s up?"
Hey! I'm going to the Zoo, and Book's taking me. Wanna come with?
"Sure! That sounds like fun!"
God is it so much to NOT deal with shit for like more than a day? Blah blah blah blah I'm just making noises with my mouth at this point and I don't care. Mleh bleh blah, fleh, qweh.
"I believe drama is part of our everyday lives now, but I'm sure you can tell them they could use their mouths for a much more better purpose" Huggles winks.
Huggles... you believe the saying "Ohana"?
"Yes, I believe, in Ohana very much so.." She looks off in a train of thought, "Nobody gets left behind or forgotten. We all have to stick together."
So Far Away.
Huggles had a somber look on her face as she packed a small duffle bag for a small trip. She packed a few precious items into that bag one that was an Elephant dressed as a cowboy with the boots, hat, pants, jacket and all that. She smiled softly at the toy and held it close before placing it safely within the bag next to a few items that she would need for the day and zipped up the bag and headed down the hall quietly. It was still early in the morning and she was sure that her other family members were still sleeping soundly, or they would be rising soon to start their day.
Huggles made her way to the door, and stepping out into the early dawn lawn, she could barely see the sun over the horizon, but she didn’t doubt within a half hour or so that it would peak it way over. She made her way down the driveway and into the city; she breathed the fresh air and smiled making her way to the train station.
-
After Huggles hopped off the train the sun was high, her watched read a little after ten. Found a local flower shop and bought a bouquet of flowers and continued her walking to her destination. She felt a knot in her stomach and a dull ache in her heart the closer she got to the place. But once she got there she kneeled down in the grass and began clearing off the dirt and leaves around the area. She placed the flowers on the gravesite and turned to her bag. She unzipped it and pulled out her elephant and held it close. Huggles leaned forward and ran her hand over the engravings that were starting to fade, she smiled, her eyes held a lost look of sadness in them, “It’s been a while… “She started off, going into telling the stone things that had happened recently in her life and about her future plans. When she would feel her eyes water, she would stop and collect herself before continuing.
After spending what seemed to be hours kneeling by the gravesite with the stuffed elephant Huggles stood she started humming a familiar song that would be sung in celebration, “Happy birthday my friend..” she whispered.
“Remember tonight... for it is the beginning of always”
"That is sweet, Stranger, I like that saying." Huggles smiles.
“The more a thing is perfect, the more if feels pleasure and pain.”
Huggles nods her head at this stranger, "I agree with you there, but then again I'm breaking this down scientifically. The more complete and developed an organism is the more it develops nerves and brainwaves for emotions to feel things such as pain and pleasure."
“That which had pleased me once, troubled by spirit.”
Huggles stares at this figure in confusion, "That's an interesting phrase, but I'm afraid I might be missing a few pieces for this or thinking to hard about it.."
