Robert Wyatt & Hugh Hopper - Amber & the Amberines
English musician and composer Hugh Hopper (1945 - 2009) seen here with his main instrument the electric bass. Hopper was in bands from 1963 to 1973 and is known for being a mainstay of Soft Machine between 1968 and 1973. He is the composer of twelve solo albums recorded between 1974 and 2008, and a named contributor to another nearly thirty collaborative albums where he played in different ensembles where the changes in the personnel were the common creative currency.
