Among other things, I laughed to the point of tears with my dad on the phone today.
Him: Do you remember that time you puked on my feet? As an adult? Me: ...
I was 19 and visiting Tallahassee for the sole purpose to get a passport (something I deemed myself incapable of securing solo in Jacksonville, maybe). I spent the night before guzzling Popov on some friends' porch. "I think..." I warned my parents. "I have food poisoning..." I blamed a Chinese buffet on Tennessee which actually seems plausible.
Anyway, I rode in the backseat to Walgreens. Once lurched into park, my dad congenially went to open my door and I thanked him by vomiting all over his shoes.
At least it's still funny about a decade later. And hopefully that's the last time.
