Another bites the dust. Sad to see Max Brenners’ across Australia go into administration (20 of 37 Australian stores will be closed). We visited Max Brenner’s at Whitfords City this morning for old times’ sake. None of the items were discounted but we were happy to purchase some of their chocolates and the hug mug as a keepsake. Their last day of trading will be Monday 8 October 2018 until close of business 10pm. Feels like it happened so suddenly that not much people know they are closing down so soon. ☹️ The banana praline crepes (aud18.50) were really soft - super generous vanilla ice cream too. Friendly service where our server was still cheerful despite their awful predicament. Sending hugs to the people affected by this.
