When I first saw the censored bit with out knowing anything about the king in yellow i thought it would be a human corpse for some reason, and after a bit i decided it would have eyes because d3rlord looked like they were almost hiding from it.

After learning more about the king in yellow and its connections, i mixed my original interpretation with the more accurate one, and drew a mix of bone, flesh, and skin. I also decided i wanted a crown but thought it would look odd just placed there, so i integrated it into the skull and thought it would be cool to have engravings in the bone. (You can’t really see it but there is some small swirls)

also i accidentally gave him top surgery scars in an attempt to shade but its fine
