Katsushika Hokusai - Kanagawa oki nama-ura (~AD 1829-1833)

this is i guess iconic and classic and stuff; i remember seeing it when i was very young before i could consciously "appreciate/examine" art; felt like it affected me somehow in a new/unusual way, a feeling i later identified with artistic/aesthetic pleasure
