Hull Minster glass
Detail from the Kitching War Memorial Window at Hull Minster
Designed and executed by James Ballantine FSA of Edinburgh.
The window expresses gratitude for Victory in the First World War.
Notice the introduction of WWI new inventions: the tank, submarine, and biplane into the design at the bottom.

Worried…
There is currently work going on on the mirror-fountains in Trinity Square: not sure if it’s repointing or if they’re being sealed with cement. If the latter, it will not be good for the little bird folk, especially in this heat…
Kingston upon Hull by Tony Via Flickr: Unlike many other English cities, Hull has no cathedral; but since 13 May 2017, it has a Minster, Hull Minster. This was formerly known as Holy Trinity Church, and dates to about 1300, Hull is in the Anglican Diocese of York and has a Suffragan bishop.
Little bits of Hull. It's a pretty place.
