In the human!connor hospital drawings is he sick or injured? I am in love with all of those drawings and need to know more lol

He is very sick! It’s apart of my human AU that I’ve been working on lately. It starts as a bad bout of the flu that he tries to work through because he can be stubborn and has a habit of ignoring his own body. He nearly passes out when trying to stand up out of a car when arriving at a crime scene, Hank gets pissed (very concerned) and makes Markus take him home. Connor down plays everything and doesn’t want to go to the hospital because he never had much money growing up and the idea of going to the ER wasn’t ever like a thing in his mind. But then his fever gets a lot worse, and he can’t even take medicine to help keep it down because he throws up anything he tries to eat or drink, and then that leads to dehydration and then delirium, and he’s collapses while trying to close some curtains, and Markus calls an ambulance and they have to go to the hospital. What started as a nasty bit of influenza A turns into pneumonia. It’s bad. The hospital helps a lot with fluids and nutrients but his oxygen stats drop very low at once point, and at the worst of it his fever gets so high that he has a few seizures because if it. Half of the time he doesn’t recognize anyone and spends a lot of the time just shivering violently and trying not to vomit all over himself. Markus is absolutely terrified. He keeps a cool head, but it spooks him. Especially when Connor hallucinates. It somehow feels like nothing matters because Connor is so far gone.In the end he’s okay. He loses a lot of weight and spends two weeks in the hospital and then another month off work. To keep him from losing his mind Markus buys him a Nintendo DS with Pokemon and Mario and Zelda and all the classics bc Connor never really played video games before, but he was so fucking bored, and it’s methodical and distracts him.
