Chapter 3: A New Development

The plan for Mettaton's transition into human life has finally come to a head. Mettaton has made his decision, and backing out is no longer an option.

There's only one thing to do; keep walking forwards.

Here is the first chapter of mine and @theeverlastingrandom‘s merman fic!

Mettaton, a merman who is in love with the human world, finds he would do anything to be a part of it. When he sees a human who catches his eye, he can't think of anything else but seeing him once again.

His only barrier is the long-lived animosity between the humans and merfolk. If Undyne found out that Mettaton was in love with a human, all hell would break loose.

Though, Mettaton has never been known to play by the rules...

Since adding more sims to the household, The Boys’ romantic life has been... switched up a little. 

Like Undyne trying to fight for Papyrus’ attention. Too bad for her, that’s a difficult task to carry out, these two are inseparable.

New fic announcement!

For a while now, me and @theeverlastingrandom have been working together on a new idea for a fic, in which we’ve created a ‘The Little Mermaid’ AU involving her human AU! I will be writing a Papyton fic based on this AU, and Random is drawing the art for it! It will be like... an illustrated novel!

The concept of the AU is that Mettaton is a merman who is enthralled by the human world and falls in love with a human (who is Papyrus) and things escalate from there. And it’s not all about Mettaton and Papyurs, as we have Undyne as Mettaton’s mother (it will make more sense when you read it) and other characters such as Blooky, Shyren , Alphys, Sans etc all have roles in the fic (whether they’re merfolk or not)! 

I don’t want to give anything else away right now, but this is something we’re really excited about and I hope you guys really enjoy it too!

I didn’t expect to be afflicted with emotion when I was checking out what Mettaton wanted. 

Also, apart from the fact that they’ve just had a fire, the reason he’s so tense is because he’s been away from Papyrus for too long...
