oh and btw our human zestial is named Kareem Moustafa and he will both inspire Silas in his work and become concerned when he seems to be taking things too far (think some aspects of dr. lanyon from the original Jekyll & Hyde book)
and for the fic! we're gonna be taking points of inspiration from the original novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, the stage play version by Jeffrey Hatcher (which is AMAZING, and I got to play Dr. Jekyll and my husband @zaebeecee played the BEST of the 4 Mr. Hydes in it <3), aaaand the delightfully campy musical Jekyll & Hyde (which my husband also got to perform in! As Poole!) we're kinda huge nerds for this story
