gonna rant about ideas for my cars 2 rewrite (humanized), no spy plot but maybe another time!

Finn and Holley are still in, just have a different role. I don’t know what yet, so you can give me suggestions!

okay so, this isn’t yet too confirmed, just an idea. mater goes to a bar in Italy at night, feeling down about the whole tokyo situation, and how he feels like an idiot. he then enters a conversation with acer and grem (I think that’s they’re names?? sorry I don’t know much about the lemon cars so I’m trying to learn more) who also had a shitty day, so they’re chatting and letting mater just, let it out. (I’m not a good writer I’m sorry—)

there’s this stand-up comedy area where you can preform your own jokes, so mater decides to give it a shot. its all fun and lighthearted at first, but then comes the angst.

I still need some ideas for the Tokyo race miscommunication thingy since the spy thing isn’t a part of the story here, so I’d love some suggestions.

the plot is centered around the racing and the rivalry between lightning and Francesco, also about doc. BUT mater is also a big part of the story, since Pixar did him dirty.

HOWEVER, i also was thinking about instead of lightning losing the tokyo race, he loses the Italy race.
