Everyone who knows me well knows I've been sleeping on an air mattress since I was 17. It was cheap and since I moved so much it was important that I have a bed I could easily move by myself in a compact car. But now I'm 30 years old, and though I have no plans to be permanently settled in any one place any time soon, I do value stability and quality more than I once did. My life no longer feels so tumultuous and I don't feel so unstable, and it was time to mark this new era of my life with something tangible. ...so I asked Anne to help me build a bed. A real one. $85 and 7 hours later and I magically feel just a little more like an adult. Lots of thanks to Anne for taking my rough idea, solidifying a design, and doing so much of the work to help make this bed a reality.
