Growing up, as years passed, they only got worse and worse. I have friends that have lost their homes, their land, and had their life flipped upside down Bc of the fires. Increased #climate instability led to warmer winters, dryer summers, more fires, more forest lost. Yesterday another fire shut down the city, pushing over 1,000 people to evacuate. #climatechange isn't some liberal environmental problem to go divided down party lines. This is personal. This affects people's lives, their homes and communities. Remaining complacent threatens our existence. Asking you all to be more aware of how your actions affect our climate and our earth. This shits bigger than #trump, than political parties, than any one movement. The driving force of change on the planet, for better or worse. As my home continues to be threatened along with millions of people worldwide, we have a chance to change things around in this next decade. Changing habits and light bulbs is a great place to start, but not enough. Defend your home, your children, your community, your legacy. The mountain burns, pushing me further into action to reverse our climate crisis. Prevention is too late. The resistance will determine wether we're gonna make it or not.
