(Link in Bio) Basic Income is the single piece of legislation which offers the broadest & most profoundly positive impact across the board. Yes, it reduces poverty, but it also increases entrepreneurship, reduces crime, leads to increased part-time employment, people finding better jobs/careers, reduce the wealth gap, etc etc. Reparations isn't on the current political agenda, but Basic Income could be if enough people took the time to understand it. During the Pandemic, everyone could have gotten Basic Income instead of some getting an Unemployment subsidy & Essential Workers getting nothing. But there wasn't enough political pressure.
