The egotistical ghost had seen Papyrus around Waterfall several times, and each time, they never really cared to ask. Or, rather, at times they would see him speed off and Napstablook would feel too lazy to chase after him despite being ‘the fastest, awesomest ghost in the Underground’ and let him run off without another word. Or they were just too busy with their music and snails to take notice. But the question occasionally popped into their mind, and they were left wondering. Today, they decided, they would finally get an answer.
“Hey, you!” Napstablook shouted, floating over to the skeleton, “What’s with the dumb outfit?”
