VISUAL ATTRACTIVENESS: 💗💗💗½ (purely aesthetic appreciation of looks)

Link's not tough on the eyes, no two ways about it, and I'd imagine this rating fluctuates a reasonable amount with the particular outfit/presentation he's rockin' on any given day; but, in general, she just thinks he's a Reasonably Good Looking Guy™, without feeling too strongly about him one way or another.

FRIENDSHIP LEVEL: 💗💗💗(+💗/ ++💗 potentially) (how close a friend they consider them)

The initial temptation to throttle him aside and in spite of what her caterwauling + pouting might lead one to believe: Honey knows Link is, at his core, a good man—and one with an unduly heavy mantle of expectation on his shoulders, which he bares with more grace than anyone could/should rightly ask from him. She has a weakspot for the heroic/knightly types, especially in wanting to see them find happiness for themselves, not just perpetually sacrificing for others.

(+💗/ ++💗 potentially) → While we haven't explored it as much in their dynamic, just yet, I imagine that he, Honey, and Zelda have (or develop) a unique bond. The golden trio out of time, remnants of a world stolen from them... he and she may never be quite as closely tethered to one another as they both are to Zel, but the fact remains that she cares deeply for him on a fundamental level, and will strive to do what it takes to help him succeed and be happy.

💔 especially if he's in a relationship with/involved with Zel, which I imagine is usually the given circumstance. If not? Spark's just not there. Not at the moment, anyhow.

A fairy? Out here??? What Luck! Link will have to take the opportunity with utmost care as he sneaks up on the glowing spectacle sailing on by... before leaping out like a mad man and cupping his hands securely around them! He slowly pries a crack open in his grasp to get a look... and huh. This... isn't like any fairy he's ever caught before. Uh oh...

Blinking softly and trailed by subtle wisps of light, a faint chiming sound—no doubt the sight of it was a welcoming thing, but Honey also found she attracted less attention from more... unsavory passers-by in the wilderness when flitting by in this more diminutive shape, aside from the occasional curious bokoblin lazily watching her float by, or the occasional mountain crow hopping from branch to branch with interest.

Simply put, it was the safest form to travel long distances in...

Or, at least, it had been, 'til now.

It happens so quickly she wouldn't have had time to shriek, even if she'd had the lungs and vocal chords to do so. Instead, she merely blinks brighter as everything goes dark, a sturdy set of well-worked hands clasped around the little light with surprising speed. ( one might think it wasn't his first time, the psychopath ).

He sure gets an eyefull when he does take his peek; and an earful to match. Voice be damned, this thing can still make a racket; and he could no doubt pick up on the fear, anger, and irritation in the bell-like clamor the flickering fae emits. Only after a moment does she muster the energy to make it something he can understand, chiming joined by a voice spoken directly into his thoughts:

❝ WHAT IN THE GREAT GOLDEN GODDESS' NAMES IS, LIKE, WRONG WITH YOU? what sort of SOCIOPATH just goes around SNATCHING people out of the air like that???!!! How would you like it if some huge freak came and clapped you up in their big sweaty palms, huh?!! ❞

She pops the 'p' in conjunction with the final fluff! of a pretty, plush pillow in her hands, the last of what must be a dozen such cushions she'd brandished from the pouch at her hip, along with the rest of her accommodations: a rather extravagant tent (which had only moments ago fit in the palm of her hand before), fully furnished with a rug, a quaint sitting table, a wide mattress tucked into the far corner, and countless hanging lanterns—many with stained-glass casing, casting colorful light and curious shadows around the space. Dreamlike, and magical.

She wouldn't tolerate anything less, if she could help it; and more often than not, she could. ❝ A good night's rest is always important, especially when traveling. You can hardly expect to be, like, at the top of your knightly game and peak awareness if you're groggy and sore from sleeping on the ground, no? Yeah, no. ❞

Biii-iig stretch, complete with a pithy little tired sound to match: the dressed-down fairy flops down amongst the nest of pillows she'd made and sighs, content.

High maintenance, maybe, but so worth it.
