LOOSE CLOTHES flow easily in the gentle breeze, eyes half closed as his face tilts towards the sun. Their trek to the meadow where he expected to find the plants in question hadn’t much further to go, but with their conversation hitting a lull he felt a desperate compulsion to fill the silence. An absence of sound, though not necessarily conversation, had always filled him with unease ( not lessened at all by the ringing in his ears which was so much worse in the silence ) and this occasion was no different from any other.
