The thing about Hunay is that to Shay, Hunk is the alien. He's the one who fell out of the sky and showed her the true meaning of freedom. Hunk is Shay's manic pixie dream girl.

This is our Voltron: Legendary Defender rewrite! This is a current work in progress with 160 chapters, and we do have another rewrite currently ongoing. For our main author, this has been a passion project for over 3 years now. We are mainly using this blog to get it out there, and recruiting betas once we get closer to actually writing.

Our major themes that we will be addressing throughout the series will be identity, choice, teamwork, and the consequences and effects of war from multiple different perspectives. We are not currently on Ao3, but will be when we get to that point of our process.

Our major author is Sol (@packcoventhing), who uses it/he pronouns. He loves character interactions, development, and personality showcases. He’s also a digital artist, and if there are any digital images in this that are not cited, they likely come from his art app! He’s 19 years old and absolutely insane about Doctor Who and Voltron (obviously. why else would we be here).

Our co-author is Lief (@sfhppjmc), who uses they/it pronouns. They like evolutions of relationships, culture, influences of anything around them, and adding in representation of all kinds. They are 18 years old and loves Doctor Who, recently recruited to hell. They only recently finished watching VLD after being dragged.

We are changing most of the plot

The endgame ships are Klance, Hunay, Shalluratt, and side Ezor x Zethrid

(The primary author, Sol, is gay. He also has a handful of fixtional women he'd date if they were real. Shiro can date alien princess and his friend all he wants.)

Lotor has been overhauled and has been given a redemption arc

Keith and Acxa are twins

Pidge will be genderfluid

Keith and Lance and Romelle are trans

Technology will become (hopefully) more based in actual theoretical physics

Altean magic system will be overhauled and given an actual structure (gasp!)

The lions CAN and WILL turn into actual lions

The relationships between the main team will become more developed and more important

Shiro's PTSD and disability will be handled in a more respectful and realistic manner

Allura gets the character development the show pretended she had

Lotor's redemption arc DOES NOT involve a romance arc

Adam's existence and death will make an impact on Shiro and Keith

We will meet and interact with Galra citizens

Voltron will not be created by Alfor

The story takes place over a longer length of time for the paladins

This is off topic and a weird question. But if you had the chance how would you write the Voltron series. How you do the characters, what would be the story. I know its been like years and Voltron might seem like a thing of the past but I have to know

I quite liked VLD in a lot of ways... so I'd keep a lot of the plot the same, but:

Allura doesn't die, keeps her crown and eventually revives the Altean culture with Arus serving as their new home planet. Rules together with Keith, serving as a bridge between Altean and Galran culture.

Keith can leave and return in a similar manner, but there should be a narrative foil aspect between him and Lotor as fellow half-breeds. Allura could potentially still have a romance with Lotor, but it's Keith she really needs and the fallout with Lotor leads into Kallura romance for endgame.

Keith's mom Krolia is revealed to be part Altean, adding further depth to Keith's heritage and his bond with Allura. She eventually serves as a leader for the Galran people alongside the other Blades.

Shiro should either die as intended or else take more of a backseat following his return to let Keith stay in the spotlight.

Lance would still be flirty with Allura and other girls, but he's overcompensating because he actually kind of likes Pidge and thinks he kind of liked Pidge even before he knew she was a girl and he doesn't want to process that. Eventual endgame Plance relationship ensues.

More Hunk and Shay. No particular notes I just reeeally like them.
