Finished up quick for some unusually cold and snowy weather!

Ft. Buttons scavenged from a favourite old cardigan of mine that sadly met it's demise (the drier)

She's grumpy I disturbed her to try on the sweater, but I made it worth her while (many beef treats)

The armholes and body all fit well, but the yoke is a bit big around so it slips down around her shoulders. I'll add the button bands and ribbing to see if that improves things, and if not I'll look into tightening the yoke

I really wanted to make a steeked Norwegian colourwork sweater but that's not something that I would enjoy wearing stylewise. Luckily my little doggy has no such objections :)

Here it is pre steeking

I adapted two drops patterns (linked below), one for the shape and the other for the colourwork. Neither involved steeking so I did a lot of clever planning (and plenty frogging) to have it all knit in the round.

Next up: crochet reinforcing the steeks and cutting. Very excited, this will be my first time!
