Aurora Borealis in Abisko, Sweden.
And a Finnish Lapphund.
You are turning 3 today.
In January and February I took you to Lappland for the first time. @brilliantyears and I like to spend part of the winter there and you loved it of course, after all you are a Finnish Lapphund.
Later in February and early March we were in the South of France and drove up the Atlantic coast to Carcassonne and La Rochelle.
We went to Norway and Sweden in summer and spend the long days hiking and meeting friends we hadn’t seen in a long time.
We spent time at both the German North Sea and Baltic coast and of course you braced every day life with me in Berlin.
I couldn’t have done it without you.
Thanks for being at my side. I love you my sweet girl ❤️
My Raika ist turning 2 today. I am so proud of her. She is the joy of my life.
In 2020 my old dog Anne died. I was so heartbroken and def didn’t want another dog for 2 years, but then by chance Raika came into my life and saved me.
This year we have been to so many places. the Baltic Coast, Bordeaux, Austria with the gang, Italy, Slovenia.
I am so glad you are with me and hope we’ll have many more adventures!
Oh Finland, how beautiful you were.
I have been to Finland many times, but always for my winter adventures.
This summer was my first time visiting in the summer. I planned my trip so that I could avoid the mosquito season. This was not easy, as the climate is changing more and more, but luckily my plan worked out.
I started with the night train to Stockholm and from there took the ferry via the Åland and Turku archipelagos to Helsinki, then travelled north by train. We saw many wonderful places, such as the beautiful Oulanka National Park and Finland's deepest gorge in Pyhä-Luosto National Park.
We kayaked through rapids and spent the night in wilderness huts.
Finland, how beautiful you were, and everyone loved seeing the Finnish Lapphund traveling her homeland :)
See you again very soon!
