For TAT: This might have been said already but my favorite trope when it comes to the subject of oxygen is when the whumpee is hung from the ceiling by their wrists so that their toes are just barely touching the ground and they struggle to breathe due to their ribs being stretched. Bonus if they’re also gagged.
Another good one for oxygen is if the whumpee has an asthma attack.
