I'm a total sucker for stoic characters having their stomach rumble
Like they either go completely quiet, their cheeks flushing just a tiny bit while their eyes widen slightly in surprise, or they groan softly with a frown and try their best to ignore it.

So, I've talked a teeny tiny bit on here about how some of the dating sims and otome games I play have scenes and bits that appeal to my attraction to hunger and give me all the happy fuzzies, and I thought I’d tell you all about more of this. If y’all like dating sims and fictional spouses, well, here you go.
This does contain some route spoilers.
Like, I talked about the situation that happened in Ikemen Revolution before, where in Jonah’s route you are accused of high treason and he takes you into the forest to evade capture, and over the at least 24 hours you’re out there gets into two fights and I don’t think y’all get to eat before the final fight either.
Akash: Path of the Five has an event on all main routes that serves as part of the main story where the MC and whichever boy you choose to date or get closest to end up being captured and taken to a dungeon. In one path it’s specified they’re in the dungeon two days before they escape. Judging by the scenery and following scenes, it takes them an additional 2 and a half days to get back to their village. During this time, all they really eat is a couple handfuls of roasted chestnuts each on day 4, and when they get back to the village they don’t get to eat immediately so my trash brain spends the entire time just going ‘They? Must? Be? Starving? ubuihuwinhw’ My favourite for this is Rocco purely because he wears an outfit that always exposes his midsection. (though he’s my favourite in general because once you get past the fuckboy crust he’s an absolute delight)
In Seduce Me there’s an audible stomach growl from the player character, and in the same scene two of the love interests are stuffing their face. The eldest admonishes them for this, but the second brother states ‘it’s not like we’ve eaten recently either’ so hoo boy, they’re hungry. In James’ route, the incubi’s need for sexual energy is described as working the same as hunger, which gives the impression that stuffing themselves full of human food may help a little but that hunger is still there. In the sequel game, it’s mentioned the MC hasn’t eaten for a few days before her wedding, and in Damien’s route the narration mentions another stomach growl.
In 7′sCarlet there’s an audible stomach growl near the beginning of the common route. Hino is mentioned to be a big eater.
Mystic Messenger, all the love interests mention skipping meals at times. In Ray’s route you get purposely starved and can complain about how hungry you are to the rest of the LIs. I sat through that scenario like ‘you’re doing this to hurt me? Jokes on you, I’m into this’
Huniepop has a hunger mechanic for all the girls you can bang, their energy drops every time you talk to them and if it bottoms out they won’t do anything with you until you get them something to eat, they’ll just complain they’re too hungry.
Magical Diary, I believe both Horse Hall and Wolf Hall, you can date Damien and he will do something to you that gets him expelled. Having failed to do what he was raised to do, he’s also now unable to go home, more of a cult base really, and lives in the woods near the school for a time. Could be comparable to a riches to rags situation. Nothing much is said but I like to imagine he’s starving out there. If your interest is primarily sexual, be careful here because I’m not sure how old Damien is supposed to be. He’s in his final school year so I assume he’s around 18.
Arcade Spirits 2 has an audible hunger growl in it too roughly midway through, again from the player character.
Obey Me has Beelzebub, Avatar of Gluttony, who’s pretty much always hungry.
Ikemen Vampire also has, well, a whole bunch of hungry vampires to fantasise over.
Ozmafia too, the player refuses to eat at one point to protest something, I believe the refusal to rescue a member of the gang who was fine anyway? And Caesar’s route, once again we get a man with a bare belly mentioning he hasn’t eaten and that he’s very hungry.
I haven’t played most of these in forever but I really want to revisit some of this now-

“Good. Now that this adventure is done, I will surely become their favorite character" He mumbled proudly with a smile on his…uh…mouth?
“Theyll never like yo-” Caine popped a bubble. He refused to let him get to his head.
With a snap he teleported to the main tent.
“HEY MY WACKY WAFFLES OF WONDERS” Caine said as his usual self. He scanned the ground. only ragatha and pomni were here… Snap!
“WHA-WHU?” Jax yelped when he popped up in front of Caine, just as gangle, Zooble and kinger. Zooble and gangle had been drawing and Kinger looked a split second confused but almost immediately turned oblivious.
“I'm sure today's adventure will please you all” He said and kicked excited with his legs.
“I doubt it,” Zooble mumbled. He just acted like he didn't hear them.
“I was sleeping,” Jax said groggy.
“I was…i cant remember what i was doing” Kinger said puzzled.
“Ive been working on an adventure for a long time…Ive made you have natural needs just as in REAL LIFE!!!”
“Huh?”
“Y’know, Sleep, thirst, hunger, oxygen”
“Oh…” Ragatha said nervous.
“ANYWAYS LET'S GO!” Caine said, pushing them all into the portal.
They all fell on each other on the other side of the portal. but when they got up and looked around, it was a beautiful garden with a house big enough for all of them.
“Wow…” Ragatha said.
i wanna get to the good part so basically they explored the house and each found a room.

Caine looked from a screen in the circus.
“They seem to like it Bubble!”
“Yeah, they properly wanna f*”% you after this” Bubble said totally unfaced.
…
Awkward silence…
“What?”

They all sat in the living room talking.
Ragatha felt tired all of a sudden… same with kinger… and Jax…
Suddenly an empty, hollow rumble echoed in the room.
Ragatha blushed and hurried to hide her stomach,
"Oh!" Uh…excuse me…I…I'm so sorry I don't know…” She stuttered. mortified
"HA! What was that!” Jax laughed at her.
Pomni was confused.
Gangle is a little freak so all she could think about was how hot that was.
(Hey writer here. Gangle whats wrong with you bro. You're a freak. How are you attracted to a woman with a growling stomach…oh…nevermind i get it…)
“Hey are you okay, ragatha?” Kinger asked.
“Yeah… I guess I just forgot to eat…I'm not used to needing to eat…” She said shyly
“Thaks for asking anyways”
“Asking what?” Kinger looked confused.
“Nevermind”
Another growl. Everyone looked at Ragatha again.
“THAT WASN'T ME THIS TIME!” She said,
Jax was looking away from the group. secretly blushing HARD. Hes fucking embarrassed.
“jax…?” Pomni tried.
"Huh?" Oh nah that wasn't me-” His stomach protested.
“Well I mean I am hungry I guess, but who needs food?” He huffed it away. As soon as they all went to bed he would find some food to fill his tummy.
now a bit quieter but more frequent growling.
Kinger looked down at his stomach… “...AHHHHHHH!!!!”

“What do you mean there's no food in the fridge!?” Pomi Said frustrated when kinger came back. He wandered off to get some food for everyone since everyone's stomach was growling now. But when he checked there was nothing prepared. Not in cabinets or fridge. It was getting dark so he was somewhat sane.
“I dont know…i dont think Caine thought of that…”
Pomni's stomach responded with an angry growl.
They all groaned in frustration.

Back in the circus, Caine was working on another adventure and didn't notice their annoyance and yelling.
Until….
It was night in the adventure. Everyone had gone to their bedrooms. and went to sleep…or…tried to sleep.

He mumbled.

Her stomach was growling constantly. She hated it. Why did it feel so realistic!’
She placed her hand on her stomach and tried to soothe the noise by rubbing it slowly.
She tried sleeping but she couldn't.

As I said , he was sane now.
he said on the bed His stomach grumbled.
He just rubbed small slow circles on his stomach. He…remembered queeny doing that…
He sighed.
His stomach responded with an outdrawn hollow gurgle.
Though…it felt…nice…to feel human again. even though it wasn't pleasant being this hungry.

She didn't know how she felt. She liked it more when it happened for others. But somehow it felt good when her stomach growled. It wasn't something she would choose herself. But now that it was forced…she could try to get the best out of it right…
She drew Zooble rubbing their stomach (or midsection or whatever)
Then she drew herself rubbing Zoobles stomach…SLAM!
She slammed her sketchbook together and held it to her chest. Her (non existing) heart was beating so fast. she smiled. Then she began laughing and jumped up in her bed and sighed happily. Why? because she's like YOU!

He hated it so fucking much…mostlbecause he kandi liked it… Or atleast he found it interesting…

“GASP!” Caine outburst. He had cartoonish blush on his…teeth? mouth? gums? I give up honestly.
“I didn't know human hunger was so…so…” Caine mumbled with his face (IDK WHAT HE HAS) Up against the screen.
He saw them all. But…his interest was on kinger. his victim. He was insane anyways…
He snapped his fingers and teleported into kingers room in the adventure.
Kinger yelped. “AH! WHAT?” Kinger was laying on the bed. He had clearly been trying to sleep.
Caine just smiled.
Silence.
Until kinger stomach let out a hungry moan. He covered it with his hand. He was kinda embarrassed but mostly because…well…he didn't know. It wasn't usually something he mind-
Caine flew over to Kinger. Staring at his waist all the way.
“What do you want, Caine?" Kinger asked, confused and worried “Nothing my dear, just wanna research a bit about this hunger thing…”

While C.yno just looks at her like "hm? Oh. Just my stomach" Or smth along these lines, like he doesn't even care that his stomach is roaring rn.
There's so many possible scenarios with that man istg
• Also I think that when his stomach growls it's always deep, long rumbles, suiting how ppl in the academiya see him as "intimidating"
• can we talk about how him getting too involved in a TCG game to the point where he doesn't eat, drink or sleep for hours is so canon
• Imagine that the spirit of Hermanubis uses up so much energy whenever he uses it to fight, when it stops he's absolutely famished, the first thing he hears when he comes back to his senses being his tummy howling and growling desperately, maybe even painful. Imagine how hungry he would be when he gets back to Sumeru.
• He's the type of guy who would be less concentrated, more sleepy and have a brain fog whenever he gets hungry. Tighnari knows, and when they're having a conversation at that time it goes like
"Okay, so, what do you think?
"... I... Uh. What?? "
"... Let's go get you a snack 😶"
