I love head canon On the 20th anniversary of the rebellion ending Willow and Rye Mellark had a presentation at school. A soldier, who was from twelve, came and told them about his times in the war. He talked about the bombing and going to the districts and fighting in the Capitol. He then told them about his life after the war in two with his wife and kids. When the presentation was over Rye found his mother Katniss and talked about the soldier before asking "did you know a soldier called Gale Hawthorn?"
