I should be sleeping but..
Why? Just because it's 3 in the morning? I think not. Thoughts won't leave my mind. I can't seem to stop thinking. Just for moment? I tried sleeping for most of the day but thoughts of you crept in and out. Goodbye. Til this time next year? Til tomorrow? Til the summertime? Maybe until never. Who knows. Not me. My body is exhausted. My mind is racing. I can't slow down. I can barely get my thoughts out through my fingers touching the keyboard.
Music plays in the background. The room is dark. The only light is that from my computer. I look to my side and there is no one there. I yearn for the day when I have someone to sleep next to. It's only January 2nd. There is time for change. There is room for new things. I hope to have a new thing like yourself. I want someone to explore (mind, body, and soul). I want someone to just be with.
January 2nd. January 2nd. January 1st was great. 2012 ended well. I'm already ready for something else.
