Elena smiled as she looked at him, feeling a warmth fill her whole body at his words.
She reached up to him, her hand cupping his neck lightly as she pressed her lips ever so lightly to his.
“I love you too.” She whispered.
She never really thought she would find love again. Part of her wondered if she ever loved Philip. Clay had been her everything. But here was Alcide, who took care of her when she was at her weakest, who helped her strengthen not only herself, but the inner wolf too. This life was one she never planned, but she wouldn’t change a thing about it.
