Hunter was in a foul mood already and it was still early in the day. He’d gotten himself kicked out of Defense Against the Dark Arts for the sheer strength he’d used on one of the spells, which he didn’t think was his fault. Nothing was his fault. He had a hard time taking responsibility when things went wrong, even if he often felt he deserved anything bad. It didn’t help that he was struggling with PTSD today after a nightmare. Reality was a struggle and he was having a hard time holding it together. If he were home, he would be speaking to his dads or working with the animals, as that always grounded him. However, he wasn’t home and so for now he was settling for a walk outside. If he weren’t already in trouble, he would have snuck into the forest to try to see some creatures, but since he was already in trouble he isn’t going to risk it.
As Hunter exited the building, he heard the sound of spells being used and voices nearby. He knew those voices. They were housemates of his and by the sound of it they were up to no good. It wasn’t surprising, as many of his housemates seemed to be jerks. Even so, he wasn’t in the mood for their shit and because of it, he immediately followed the sound. He didn’t ask questions, he simply raised his wand and countered everything they were using on a student who right now he couldn’t see. When they turned to him, he smirked. “I am so not in the mood for your shit, you wanna duel, fucking duel me and leave whatever damn squib you decided to pick on today alone.” With that, a duel did commence, one which he won (though not without some painful hits and bleeding wounds) and the other boys fled before any staff members arrived. Now, he turned his attention to the other student and rolled his eyes when he saw who it was. “It figures it would be you.....are you okay?” His question greatly contradicted the act he always tried to put up. The fact is Adora intrigued him and he actually thought she was quite beautiful. Getting him to admit either of those things, however, would take work.
